Peng Yu received the BS in physics from Peking University (People's Republic of China) in 2002 and MS in physics from the University of California San Diego in 2004. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
His major interest is Design For Manufacturing (DFM). In particular, he is interested in faster OPC algorithms and lithography modeling. He has interned in Synopsys and IBM.
He has several publications in DAC, ICCAD, SPIE Microlithography. He has reviewed papers for the IEEE Transactions on CAD and various conferences. He is a student member of SPIE.
