First, you need to highlight the cells
that you want to run abstract generation. In our case, click nand2x1.
Now click Flow -> Pins...
The following window will pop up. Type the information as shown:
Now click the Boundary tab. You will see something like the following:
Select Create boundary: and set it
to Always. Now fill out the rest of the list.
The value in Adjust Boundary By depends on your layout. In our case,
our Vdd and Gnd pin are 0.4 micron outside of the boundary from left to right,
and 0.2 micron outside from top to bottom. See the layout below.
